The Bowie Volunteers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Martin Warriors to 23 in the Volunteers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Volunteers now have a 14-17 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington for a 6A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 31. Bowie will confront a Colts team coming off a 34-30 league loss to Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Colts record now stands at 14-16.

With the loss, Martin falls to 12-17 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to confront the Buffalos in a 6A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 31. The Buffalos go into the game with a record of 11-17. Haltom won 49-36 in their recent league game against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX)
