North Carolina High School Basketball - Burns routs Highland Tech

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 58-19 win over the Highland Tech Rams.

The Bulldogs (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Crest smashed Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 69-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont contest, on Friday, January 31. Highland Tech will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Golden Lions come into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 58-41 league loss to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC).
