North Carolina High School Basketball - Highland Tech overwhelmed by Burns

December 19, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28052

In Thursday's league test, the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), by a score of 48-22.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 26. Burns will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record.

The Rams (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons come into the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy bounced Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 64-57, in a league test.
