South Carolina High School Basketball - Horse Creek Academy succumbs to Calhoun County

January 28, 2025: St. Matthews, SC 29135

The Calhoun County Saints defeated the visiting Horse Creek Academy Stallions basketball squad by a final score of 49-38 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Saints clash with the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans (Neeses, SC) in a A Region 3 outing, on Friday, January 31. Calhoun County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Trojans come into the outing with a 12-4 record after their 60-13 league win over Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC).

The Stallions (1-12) will now prepare for their outing against Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Blue Devils come into the A Region 3 outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Williston-Elko overcame Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC), 62-16, in a league outing.
