South Carolina High School Basketball - Chester succumbs to Eau Claire

The Eau Claire Shamrocks defeated the visiting Chester Cyclones basketball squad by a final score of 39-24 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Shamrocks clash with the Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 30. Eau Claire will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Griffins come into the outing with a 6-8 record after their 40-23 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, SC).

The Cyclones (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Rebels come into the AA Region 3 outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Mid-Carolina overcame Columbia (Columbia, SC), 52-33, in a league outing.
