The First Baptist Christian Knights basketball team scored 27 points and limited the visiting Maranatha Christian Academy Huskies to 12 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Moline Christian for a Northern Illinois Christian game on Tuesday, February 11.

With the loss, Maranatha Christian Academy falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep (Rosamond, IL) to confront the Frank in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Frank go into the game with a record of 5-0. Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep won 46-35 in their recent non-league game against Mississippi Valley Christian (Alton, IL)
