The Hobbs Eagles basketball team scored 85 points and limited the host Roswell Coyotes to 39 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 20-1 record. They play next when they host Clovis for a 5A District 4 game on Friday, January 31. Hobbs will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 35-34 league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-3.
With the loss, Roswell falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to confront the Cavemen/Cavegirls in a 5A District 4 game on Friday, January 31. The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the game with a record of 15-6. Carlsbad lost 35-34 in their recent league game against Clovis (Clovis, NM)
