The Hobbs Eagles bounced the visiting Roswell Coyotes basketball squad by a final score of 66-32 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a 5A District 4 outing, on Friday, February 14. Hobbs will attempt to upgrade on its 23-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 20-4 record after their 50-34 league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
The Coyotes (13-11) will now prepare for their outing against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls come into the 5A District 4 outing with a 16-8 record. In their last outing, Carlsbad was overwhelmed by Clovis (Clovis, NM), 50-34, in a league outing.
