The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nueces Canyon Panthers (Barksdale, TX) and the visiting Medina Bobcats (Medina, TX), observed Nueces Canyon's basketball team overwhelm Medina by a score of 56-24.

The Panthers (24-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Angoras come into the 1A Region IV District 31 challenge with a 11-16 record. In their last challenge, Rocksprings was routed by Leakey (Leakey, TX), 40-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Medina will attempt to improve on its 17-12 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 50-16 league win over Comstock (Comstock, TX).
