The Panthers (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Angoras come into the 1A Region IV District 31 challenge with a 7-15 record. In their last challenge, Rocksprings edged Knippa (Knippa, TX), 54-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Medina will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 65-8 league win over Comstock (Comstock, TX).
