In Tuesday's league contest, the host Spearman Lynx basketball team scored a big 59-26 triumph over the West Texas Comanches.
The Lynx (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region I District 1 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Sanford-Fritch smashed Sunray (Sunray, TX), 49-23, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Comanches battle the Stratford Elks (Stratford, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 contest, on Friday, January 31. West Texas will attempt to better on its 16-14 season record. The Elks go into the contest with a 25-4 record after their 60-39 league win over Gruver (Gruver, TX).
