Texas High School Basketball - Spearman routs West Texas

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Spearman Lynx basketball team scored a big 57-24 triumph over the West Texas Comanches.
The Lynx (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region I District 1 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Sanford-Fritch smashed Sunray (Sunray, TX), 54-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Comanches battle the Stratford Elks (Stratford, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. West Texas will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record. The Elks go into the contest with a 20-3 record after their 40-37 league win over Gruver (Gruver, TX).
