The Cougars (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Avery County (Newland, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Avery County dropped by Owen (Black Mountain, NC), 41-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warhorses encounter the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Owen will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 42-35 non-league win over Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC).
