North Carolina High School Basketball - Owen nips Mountain Heritage

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Owen Warhorses basketball team scored a close 52-45 win over the Mountain Heritage Cougars.

The Warhorses (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Brevard was tipped by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 66-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Mountain Heritage will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
