The Carteret Ramblers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Kennedy Memorial Mustangs to 35 in the Ramblers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Ramblers now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bard for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31. Carteret will battle a team coming off a 51-48 league win over Green (New York, NY). The record now stands at 12-12.

The Mustangs (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against South River (South River, NJ). The Rams enter the Greater Middlesex - Blue contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, South River was routed by Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ), 80-53, in a league contest.
