Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn Cambria thwarts Somerset

The Penn Cambria Panthers (Cresson, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), 63-43 in Monday's league test.

The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans go into the Laurel Highlands test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Greater Johnstown notched a victory over Bedford (Bedford, PA), 76-34, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Penns Valley Area for a Laurel Highlands test on Friday, February 2. Somerset will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 67-60 league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, PA). The Rams record now stands at 9-9.
