The South-Doyle Cherokees topped the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs basketball team by a final score of 46-33 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Cherokees face the Carter Green Hornets (Strawberry Plains, TN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 30. South-Doyle will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record.

With the defeat, Sequoyah moves to 11-10 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN) to face the Panthers in a 3A District 5 game on Friday, February 2. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 4-13.
