Tennessee High School Basketball - Sequoyah knocked off by South-Doyle

The South-Doyle Cherokees basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Sequoyah Chiefs to 41 in the Cherokees league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cherokees now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibbs for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. South-Doyle will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-70 non-league loss to Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 11-15.
The Chiefs (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Tellico Plains (Tellico Plains, TN). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Tellico Plains ran past Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN), 57-44, in a league contest.
