California High School Basketball - Taft ripped by Birmingham

The Birmingham Patriots basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Taft Toreadors to 21 in the Patriots league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a West Valley contest on Wednesday, January 31. Birmingham will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 63-38 league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-13.

The Toreadors (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Chancellors enter the West Valley contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, Chatsworth triumphed over El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 52-49, in a league contest.
