The Burlington Wildcats basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Prairie View Buffalos to 33 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson County for a Pioneer contest on Tuesday, January 30. Burlington will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-21 non-league win over Central Heights (Richmond, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-1.

The Buffalos (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wellsville (Wellsville, KS). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Wellsville was nudged by Jefferson West (Meriden, KS), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
