In Monday's league outing, the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL), by a margin of 44-28.
The Eagles (14-11) will now prepare for their outing against Breese Central (Breese, IL). The Cougars go into the Cahokia - Mississippi outing with a 24-3 record. In their last outing, Breese Central defeated East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL), 97-25, in a league outing.
