The Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA) basketball nipped the host Le Grand Bulldogs (Le Grand, CA), 29-25 in Monday's league test.

The Wildcats (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Denair (Denair, CA). The Coyotes go into the Southern League test with a 7-16 record. In their last test, Denair was tipped by Gustine (Gustine, CA), 47-29, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Delhi for a Southern League contest on Wednesday, January 31. Le Grand will battle a Hawks team coming off a 53-5 league loss to Mariposa County (Mariposa, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-12.
