The Le Grand Bulldogs (Le Grand, CA) basketball nipped the host Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA), 26-21 in Monday's league test.

The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Orestimba (Newman, CA). The Warriors go into the Southern League test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Orestimba got by Enochs (Modesto, CA), 29-23, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mariposa County for a Southern League test on Tuesday, January 9. Waterford will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 53-9 league win over Delhi (Delhi, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-7.
