In Monday's non-league match, the host Sandy Creek Cougars basketball team scored a good 48-40 triumph over the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 30. Sandy Creek will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 11-5 record after their 41-33 non-league loss to David City (David City, NE).
