Tennessee High School Basketball - South-Doyle trounces Sequoyah

The South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) basketball crushed the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), 69-38 in Monday's league test.
The Cherokees (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN). The Green Hornets go into the non-league test with a 4-19 record. In their last test, Carter was trounced by Northview Academy (Kodak, TN), 81-39, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lenoir City for a 3A District 5 test on Friday, February 2. Sequoyah will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 40-38 league loss to South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-12.
