With the win, Newark Memorial upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Cougars host James Logan (Union City, CA) to clash with the Colts in a bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 4-4. James Logan won 68-45 in their recent league bout against American (Fremont, CA)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 22-1 record after their 80-42 league win over Washington (Fremont, CA).
