St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC), 40-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. James upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Christian Academy lost 44-13 in their recent non-league bout against St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC)

Next up, the Braves play the Conway Tigers (Conway, SC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 1. Socastee will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
