Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Westmont Hilltop can't hold off Bishop Carroll

Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), 66-65 in a league match.

With the victory, Bishop Carroll upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Huskies host Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA) to face the Golden Tigers in a Laurel Highlands match on Friday, January 31. The Golden Tigers enter the match with a record of 16-2. Hollidaysburg won 59-28 in their recent league match against Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA)

The Hilltoppers now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Laurel Highlands match on Friday, January 31. Westmont Hilltop will face a Dragons squad coming off a 54-51 league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 12-4.

The Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) varsity basketball team lost Wednesday's home conference game against Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA) by a score of 66-65.
