Vermont High School Basketball - Montpelier crushes Spaulding

The Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) basketball crushed the visiting Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT), 78-48 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Solons now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Thetford Academy for a Capital bout on Friday, January 31. Montpelier will play a Panthers team coming off a 0-0 league Randolph (Randolph, VT). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Spaulding falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Crimson tide travel to North Country Union (Newport, VT) to play the Falcons in a Metro bout on Friday, January 31. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 6-7. North Country Union won 67-47 in their recent non-league bout against Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT)
