Vermont High School Basketball - Spaulding routed by Montpelier

Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT), 86-38 in a non-league challenge.

The Solons (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against U-32 (Montpelier, VT). The Raiders come into the Capital challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, U-32 was routed by Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT), 56-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Crimson Tide encounter the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Spaulding will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 67-46 non-league win over North Country Union (Newport, VT).
