The Eagles (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Cardinals come into the 2A Foothills challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, East Surry was tipped by South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 81-67, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a 2A Foothills challenge, on Friday, January 31. North Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 71-46 league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC).
