West Virginia High School Basketball - Lewis County knocked off by Grafton

In Wednesday's league test, the Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), by a score of 53-42.

Next, the Bearcats encounter the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) in a Big Ten test, on Friday, January 31. Grafton will attempt to improve on its 13-0 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 3-13 record after their 42-32 league loss to Preston (Kingwood, WV).

The Minutemen (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Buccaneers come into the Big Ten test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Buckhannon-Upshur beat Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV), 63-42, in a league test.
