In Wednesday's league contest, the host Kane Wolves basketball team scored a big 54-31 triumph over the Ridgway Elker.

The Wolves (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clarion Area (Clarion, PA). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Clarion Area was trounced by Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA), 61-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Elker confront the Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Ridgway will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Hubbers go into the contest with a 2-14 record after their 35-25 league win over Galeton (Galeton, PA).
