Washington High School Basketball - Overlake thwarts South Whidbey

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA) and the visiting South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), observed Overlake's basketball team knock off South Whidbey by a score of 49-35.
The Owls (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Bush (Seattle, WA). The Blazers come into the 1A Emerald Sound challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Bush prevailed over Northwest (Seattle, WA), 57-20, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge, on Friday, January 31. South Whidbey will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 35-33 league loss to Bear Creek (Redmond, WA).
