Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA), 52-45 in a league match.
With the victory, Palma upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Chieftains host Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA) to face the Eagles in a match on Friday, January 31. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-7.
The Padres now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salinas for a match on Wednesday, February 12.
