South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their basketball team knock off the host Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC), 60-52 in a league challenge.

The Falcons (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against New Bern (New Bern, NC). The Bears come into the challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, New Bern was knocked off by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 42-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Havelock will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Rampants come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 60-51 league loss to South Central (Winterville, NC).
