The Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 59-44 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps go into the 4A Conference 29 test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Cary notched a victory over Green Hope (Cary, NC), 75-39, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Middle Creek for a 4A Conference 29 test on Friday, January 6. Apex will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 63-58 league loss to Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.
