The Ashland Blue Jays basketball team (Ashland, KS), dropped 43-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Ingalls Bulldogs (Ingalls, KS)

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meade for a Southern Plains-Iroquois battle on Friday, January 6. Ingalls will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 69-57 non-league win over Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 5-1.

The Blue Jays (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Hodgeman County prevailed over Spearville (Spearville, KS), 56-48, in a non-league battle.
