The Katahdin Cougars basketball team scored 92 points and restricted the host Ashland Hornets to 31 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Aroostook for a D North contest on Thursday, January 5. Katahdin will battle a Warriors team coming off a 101-27 league win over Washburn (Washburn, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 6-0.
The Hornets (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record.
