The Belle Plaine Dragons basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Conway Springs Cardinals to 41 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Udall for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Belle Plaine will battle a Eagles team coming off a 45-44 non-league win over Pretty Prairie (Pretty Prairie, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Anthony, KS). The Roadrunners enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Chaparral was defeated by Haven (Haven, KS), 53-41, in a non-league contest.
