Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR), saw Jonesboro's basketball squad knock off Cabot by a count of 58-43.
With the victory, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Hurricane host Bryant (Bryant, AR) to play the Hornets in a 6A Central challenge on Friday, January 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Bryant won 54-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Destiny Christian (Del City, OK)
Next up, the Panthers play the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR) in a Freelance challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Cabot will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 57-46 league loss to Conway (Conway, AR).
