The Sanderson Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Comstock Panthers to 35 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iraan for a 1A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, January 6. Sanderson will meet a Braves team coming off a 39-34 league loss to Grandfalls-Royalty (Grandfalls, TX). The Braves record now stands at 4-6.
