The Greenwood Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting East Juniata Tigers to 26 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport for a Tri-Valley contest on Friday, January 6. Greenwood will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 68-49 league loss to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-4.

The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Juniata (Mifflintown, PA). The Indians come into the Tri-Valley contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Juniata triumphed over Susquenita (Duncannon, PA), 51-45, in a league contest.
