The Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) basketball nipped the host East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA), 62-55 in Monday's league test.

The Wildcats (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Newport (Newport, PA). The Buffaloes go into the Tri-Valley test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Newport was tipped by Midd-West (Middleburg, PA), 54-43, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Juniata for a Tri-Valley test on Thursday, February 2. East Juniata will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 50-42 league loss to Millersburg (Millersburg, PA). The Indians record now stands at 9-11.
