The Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) basketball knocked off the host Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI), 64-52 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pointers (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Cuba City (Cuba City, WI). The Cubans go into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Cuba City notched a victory over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI), 85-55, in a league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test on Friday, January 6. Fennimore will encounter a Chieftains squad coming off a 53-42 league loss to Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-6.
