The Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI), 56-47 in Friday's league test.
The Pointers (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI). The Wildcats go into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Southwestern notched a victory over Darlington (Darlington, WI), 59-57, in a league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Riverdale for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test on Thursday, February 9.
