Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA), 90-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin Parish upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Patriots host Neville (Monroe, LA) to play the Tigers in a 4A District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-9.

Next up, the Dragons play the Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Mangham will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Farmers go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 68-36 non-league win over Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA).
