The Franklin Parish Patriots basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Mangham Dragons to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vidalia for a non-league contest on Friday, December 23. Franklin Parish will meet a Vikings team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.

The Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Dry Prong, LA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Grant was routed by Buckeye (Buckeye, LA), 65-48, in a non-league contest.
