Virginia High School Basketball - Southampton Academy topped by Kenston Forest

The Kenston Forest Kavaliers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Southampton Academy Raiders to 45 in the Kavaliers league victory on Tuesday.
The Kavaliers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banner Christian for a VISAA Division IV contest on Friday, January 6. Kenston Forest will battle a team coming off a 70-63 league win over Church Hill Academy (Richmond, VA). The record now stands at 7-4.
The Raiders (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA). The Vikings come into the VISAA Division III contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Brunswick Academy prevailed over Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA), 49-47, in a league contest.
