The Southampton Academy Raiders basketball team (Courtland, VA), dropped 73-57 in Friday's league battle with the host Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA)
The Kavaliers now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williamsburg Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, February 6. Kenston Forest will meet a Eagles team coming off a 75-62 non-league win over St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
With the defeat, Southampton Academy moves to 8-13 on the year. The Raiders host Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA) to meet the Vikings in a VISAA Division III match on Wednesday, February 8. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 10-9. Brunswick Academy won 73-59 in their recent league match against Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA)
